The Blue Moon Bead® designers travel the far, reaching corners of the globe for hand-crafted exotic beads that turn ordinary craft customers into jewelry designers. Blue Moon Beads® was founded, by Elizabeth Ward, who in 1989, started importing temporarily strung pearls. Ms. Ward’s commitment to delivering high quality jewelry-making products at affordable prices with an attention to detail has grown to a catalog of over 10,000 products including glass and natural material beads, metal pendants and charms, mixed media components and almost finished jewelry.

Blue Moon Beads® has rapidly grown to be a leading bead resource in the industry. In 2011, the Blue Moon Beads brand was acquired by DCWV Inc., which has infused and revitalized a robust design process that is dedicated to developing exceptional products for the jewelry-making enthusiast.

DCWV (Die Cuts with a View) was founded over 20 years ago by Nancy Hill.  As a crafter, she began to manufacture beautiful sets of die cut shapes in the themes, colors, and varieties that were missing in the marketplace.  With the years of hard work, determination, and a passion for success that would follow, DCWV has evolved from its humble beginnings of a basement room and a staff of stay-at-home moms into an industry leader in the paper crafting, home décor, bead and jewelry markets.
